Why MFW?
Won-Door’s FireGuard Moveable FireWall™ (MFW) is the only rated accordion folding door capable of spanning large openings that require ASTM E119.
Openings Can Exceed 25% of Your Rated Wall
Having been tested in accordance with ASTM E119, FireGuard MFW is not limited to 156 sq. ft. or 25% of the length of the rated wall (IBC 2021, Section 707.6).
Protect Curved Openings
FireGuard MFW is now available in curved opening applications with maximum sizes of up to 30’ wide and 12’ high.
Capable of Egress
The same ADA-compliant exiting device provided on FireGuard doors could also be provided on MFW (consult local AHJ).
MFW In Action
Openings in fire barriers are typically limited in maximum width and maximum area. MFW is used in many common applications to surpass those limits, boost opening sizes and increase traffic flow and building utility.
